MISSION: The purpose of the SGBL is to provide an equal opportunity for all girls (ages 5-15) to play organized basketball. Our goals are: to teach the game of basketball, to promote good sportsmanship and fair play, and to do so in a fun learning environment.

The 2011-2012 Smithfield Girls Basketball League season is almost over!
We will be having our end-of-season Banquet at the Pines Restaurant on Saturday April 14th. At this banquet we hand out all the U16 and U12 Champion/Finalist trophies. And we hand out all the U16, U12, and U10 Sportsmanship Awards as well.
There is also a fun raffle and DJ, so bring the family and lets have some fun! I hope to see everyone there.
